    Rotating centres

    Brand:Neidlein

    RN

RN turning centres are used in turning and grinding. The spindles are made of wear resistant steel and are fully hardened. Spindles with carbide tips are used in hard machining. RN are available with full or half carbide tip. The maximum true output tolerance for the turning type is 0.005 mm and for the grinding type is 0.003 mm max. The HQ RN type is for greater accuracy where the tolerance is 0.002 mm. To ensure optimum sealing, the turning type is fitted with a non-contact labyrinth seal and the grinding type is supplied with a sealing ring on the contact shaft.

    RNC

RNC turning centres are used in turning and grinding. The extended tip with additional angle serves to provide better access to the cutting tools in limited working space. The spindles are made of wear-resistant steel and are fully hardened, and those with carbide inserts are typically used in heavy machining applications. The maximum spindle output tolerance of the lathe type is 0.005mm and that of the grinding type is 0.002mm. The HQ type is for greater accuracy where the tolerance is 0.002mm (on set). To ensure optimum sealing, the turning type is fitted with a non-contact labyrinth seal and the grinding type is supplied with a sealing ring on the contact shaft.

    RNA

RNA turning centres are used when turning parts with large central holes. Tightening of the workpieces is achieved by selecting different centring cones. The cones from Ø25 to Ø315mm are standard and are usually stocked by the manufacturer, unlike the special cones up to Ø400. Ease of installation and removal is provided by the use of a chamfered interface and taper screw at the end of the centres.

    RNW

RNWs are primarily used in turning. They are available with various interchangeable inserts that offer a wide range of clamping options for different workpieces with different centres. The manufacturer also offers the manufacture of special inserts.

    RKA

RKA turning centres are used when turning heavy workpieces with large central holes. The modular clamping system provides a high degree of flexibility. It is possible to clamp workpieces with centre holes from Ø5mm to Ø460mm. Holes up to Ø115mm can be clamped with the main holder body. For larger holes, suitable central tapers such as 70°, 90° holes or those with different diameters must additionally be adapted.

    RNF

RNFs are used in turning processes where centres are held in the turret heads or where there is a need to balance the linear elongation of the workpiece. RNFs also help to determine the strength of the back saddle when it is used in manual mode. The spindles are made from tool steel and are fully hardened, with excellent anti-wear performance.

    RNCF

RNCFs are absolutely similar in characteristics to RNFs, but have an extended tip with a second flat angle that serves to provide better access of the cutting tools to the workpiece in a limited working space.
