FN dead centres are universally used in turning and measuring. The pins are made of wear-resistant steel and are fully hardened. The maximum true output tolerance is 0.002mm.
To remove and prevent damage to the spindle bearing or spindle bushings without a through hole, the center pins are supplied with a screw thread.
