T6 and T8 series

Quick-Tech's series of CNC lathes with tool head (BMT-55) includes the T6 Compact/Twin, T8 Hybrid Y-axis and T8 Twin/Classical.
The T8 series is designed to perform heavy machining with high accuracy and precision. The series combines an extremely powerful turret head and flexible tooling system, synchronized spindles, a 25bar high pressure pump, a 360° free rotating B-axis for threading and drilling at any angle, and a Y-axis is available as an option.
The series offers a tool head and 8" or 10" chuck.
The instrument head is mounted on an additional wedge at 75° on the X-axis as part of the hull casting. Both X and Y axes have wide, hardened linear guides to ensure stability and accuracy. Control on the Y-axis provides multitasking capabilities on rotating tools and enhances various types of machining. With a Y-axis stroke of 80mm=±40mm a wide range of workpieces can be machined efficiently.

The T6 series is designed for easy turning of mass production parts, covering their high demands through a large selection of options (e.g. reinforced tool head BMT-55). Machines in this series can be used with either a 6" or 8" chuck.
The T6 Twin model is equipped with a second spindle in order to machine the second side of the workpieces.
Rotary tools and C-axis work are available with milling, drilling and tapping capabilities.
